Location: 151A Old County Rd, San Carlos

It is not only the joyful holiday time! In Chinese classics, Fall is the season of harvest and storage our essence. Join us for an exciting week at our San Carlos site, featuring a fun, outdoor front yard. Students will explore Chinese food and traditional recipes, literature, cultural traditions through hands-on activities, unique learning opportunities and enjoy the festivity of both the US and Asian countries. Our camp features a variety of fun and educational activities, including:

  • Cooking Adventures: Our young chefs will dive into Asian cuisine, cooking simple, delicious dishes using traditional and innovative ingredients, from Kimchi from Korea, rice noodle Spring roll from Vietnam, Chinese Xiaolongbao (XLB/Chinese buns) made with American Turkey filling!

  • Cultural Learning: Throughout the camp, children will be introduced to Chinese language related to food and cooking, making learning both fun and practical. Student will also be exposed to virtues from Chinese history like gratitude and humility, through hands-on calligraphy practice and literature stories.

  • Tai Chi Practice: Children will be introduced to the gentle art of Tai Chi, a traditional Chinese practice known for its health benefits. Through simple, age-appropriate movements inspired by nature, students will develop focus, balance, and relaxation while learning about the importance of mind-body connection in Chinese culture.

  • Creative Art Activities: From making traditional Chinese clothing, painting Fall colors, and making clay sculptures from Asia, students will engage in a variety of hands-on projects that blend creativity with cultural education.

This Chinese immersion camp is perfect for learners who are curious about Chinese culture and eager to explore new tastes and traditions in a fun, supportive environment. Refund policy: If you choose to cancel: No refunds within 5 days of the camp date, but we will provide credit for a future camp with us. Please contact us at info@lllchinese.org to notify us if you need to cancel. If Live Love Learn cancels due to low enrollment: A full refund will be processed to you when camp is cancelled.
