Welcome to Live Love Learn Chinese, where language and cultural learning meets innovation and passion! It all began with a shared desire within the San Carlos community for a high quality, holistic, and fun Mandarin immersion after school program. We imagined a program where our children joyfully engage in learning Chinese, confidently integrating it into their daily lives while celebrating the richness of Chinese culture in modern times, rather than enduring Chinese learning as an educational obligation.

From grassroots aspirations to tangible reality, Live Love Learn Chinese was brought to life by Sherry Zhang, a passionate teacher, mom, and owner of the highly-regarded Immersive Beijing Learning Foundation on the Peninsula, Jessica Weng an ex-product executive and dedicated San Carlos mom who led the grassroots effort, and through the support of an amazing community of parents. This non-profit aims to make Chinese language and cultural learning exciting, engaging, immersive, and practical - tailored for today’s learners and their family.
