Afterschool Electives for Fall 2026
Electives are thoughtfully included at LLLC, so it does not interfere with our curriculum. Our hope is to provide families with the convenience and diversity of quality learning opportunities while on site with us. If there are other electives you would love to see at LLLC, please let us know and we will do our best to find great partners who specialize in the subject.

Combine foundational choral training with the joy of singing and musical theatre performance. Students develop their skills in vocal technique, pitch, rhythm, music listening, harmony, and ensemble singing. With 2 Chinese songs and 1-2 English musical theatre songs, students explore different musical styles, storytelling, ways of expression, and performance.

Explore how the brain is organized, how neurons communicate, and how brain circuits control movement, sensation, memory, emotion, and behavior. Through sheep-brain dissection, tissue staining, microscopy, circuit-building activities, and disease-based challenges, students learn about and practice techniques used in neuroscience research.
